Paras Parmar
Paras Parmar is an artist whose work centers on quiet, spiritual introspection, most notably through his recurring depictions of Nandi. Working in acrylic and charcoal, he builds paintings that feel subtle yet vibrant, shaped by energetic, searching brush strokes that trace an emerging independence of inner vision.
His practice grows out of personal struggle, turning to the canvas as a way of investigating his own spirit and working toward resolution. Rather than polished or purely decorative, his pieces carry an unguarded, meditative intensity, layered textures and restrained color giving way to bursts of energy that suggest movement within stillness. There's a devotional undercurrent to much of his imagery, but it reads less as religious illustration than as a personal language for grappling with inner conflict and finding steadiness.
The result is work that rewards slow looking: paintings that hold tension between fragility and force, and that invite viewers into the same searching, spiritual process that drives their making.
