Bolgum Sai Aditya
Bolgum Sai Aditya is a Hyderabad-based artist whose practice sits at the intersection of art, architecture, and design — an identity he describes himself as "an artist by heart, an architect by passion, and a designer by thought." This multidisciplinary training shapes a body of work that moves fluidly between printmaking, furniture design, and narrative-driven objects, always with an eye for how space, structure, and story intersect.
His most distinctive body of work is the "City Lights" series, exhibited in Kalakriti Art Gallery's 2025 show Origin Story. In it, he turns iconic urban landmarks — Delhi's Jama Masjid, Connaught Place, Chandni Chowk's cloth emporiums, Palika Bazar, and Sarojini Market — into intimate visual portraits, capturing the textures and rhythms of everyday commercial life rather than monumental grandeur. His architect's eye for structure combines with a designer's sensitivity to detail, giving his urban scenes a layered, almost narrative quality that feels both documentary and deeply personal.
